Rum is quintessentially a huge part of Jamaica and Caribbean culture. The first rums were distilled on sugarcane plantations in the 17th century. It was enslaved Africans working on plantations who discovered that molasses could be fermented and distilled to the dark spirit we know today. Our Spiced Rum blend was first released in 2020, to pay homage to our ancestors and share their stories of sugar which history often times forget. The history of sugar, tea, rum and Caribbean culture could not and would not have existed without them, their blood, sweat and tears, and lives.
We reformulated this blend which now includes Black Tea, Sarsaparilla, Cinnamon and Natural Flavouring.
Bags and Canisters hold 85 grams & makes over 45 cups. This blend is strong for 2-3 infusions.
