  • 2 tsps Portland Bliss loose leaf tea
  • 1 cup mineral water
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 2 lemon wedges 
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Soda water

Directions:

  1. Heat water to 175º F and steep tea for 3 mins.
  2. Once steeped, remove leaves from tea and set aside to cool.
  3. Combine thyme and 1 lemon wedge and honey in a glass and use muddler until the herbs break down with the honey. (You may also use the end of a wooden spoon)
  4. Add tea and vodka and you may add more honey to taste.
  5. Strain into a tall glass over ice.
  6. Top with soda water and stir lightly.
  7. Finish off with the second lemon wedge as a garnish. 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Tsp Chai Guy
  • 2 Tsp brown sugar or 3 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Splash of Rum
  • Splash of Cointreau/ Orange Liqueur

Directions:

  1. Steep 2-3 tsp. of Best Damn Chai to 8oz. of boiled water. Steep for 5 minutes.
  2. While your tea is steeping, heat 1/4 cup milk until steaming. If you would like foam on your latte, use a milk frother to froth the milk.
  3. Pour the heated milk into your cup with the tea brew and add sugar, or honey to taste, rum and orange liqueur.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired and serve warm.

: Alternate method ::

  1. You may also add tea leaves & spices, and brown sugar/honey in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the milk and warm until simmering over low heat.
  3. Add the rum and orange liqueur to sweetened tea and buzz with an immersion blender or use a milk frother until frothy.
