Iced teas are a great way to enjoy your favourite cuppa, especially when the temperature heats up. There are also many ways you can make it. You can brew it hot and add ice, you can do a cold brew, or you can let the sun do its thing if you're in the great outdoors.

To make the perfect cup of tea, always add an extra teaspoon of tea to 8 oz of water to make a stronger brew if you decide to add ice. Ice will melt and dilute your tea and you want a perfectly infused tea.

  • Cold Brew method - Add 2 tsp of room temperature water to 8 ounces of water to a jug, jar or cup. Leave in your refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours. Not to mind, the tea will not overstep as only hot water will release tannins from tea, so there will be no bitterness - just the natural sweetness of the tea. Once brewed, remove your leaves and pour over ice.
  • Hot Method - Add 2 tsps of hot water to 8 ounces of water. Ensure that the tea you're brewing has the correct temperature of water and do not oversteep your tea. Once its brewed, sweeten with sugar, honey or agave and add ice.
  • Sun tea is an exciting way to make tea. Simply pour room temperature water over your leaves and leave in the sun for an hour or two. Feel free to add a sweetener, fruit, add ice and enjoy.
